ABOUT CVWN

The Conflict Victim Women National Network (CVWN) was founded in 2020 by women who experienced the hardships of armed conflict. This non-profit NGO is dedicated to safeguarding the rights of conflict victim women, providing them with a secure and respectful environment. CVWN specifically focuses on women, acknowledging their disproportionate suffering due to societal norms. During wartime, many women endured sexual harassment, rape, and torture, often used as tools of war, resulting in profound physical and psychological trauma. CVWN is committed to offering these women a safe space, protecting their rights, and addressing transitional justice and reparation issues. CVWN meets conflict-affected women's distinctive needs and justice concerns, playing a crucial role in peacebuilding, transitional justice dialogue, and advocacy. The organization has established networks in over 45 districts across 7 provinces and collaborates actively with local authorities and like-minded organizations. The team possesses expertise in transitional justice, victims' rights, and the Women's Peace and Security National Action Plan (NAP). Beyond aiding transitional justice through leadership development and women's empowerment, CVWN drives societal transformation by incorporating conflict-victim women into its network....
